I'm a Philosophy professor at Baylor University. While a grad student in Philosophy at the University of Rochester I blended the work of my mentors there: Henry Kyburg, Richard Feldman and Earl Conee, and Ed Wierenga. The upshot is the application of a probabilistic theory of evidence applied to religion. I've got a great wife and four great kids who hike and bike and ski with me, kayak and canoe too.

Nah, just proof that women are superior to men. They ask the impossible and we deliver.

Still, one hopes that women will evolve to the point where they have better judgement about which impossibilities they help men pull off.
You forget that you are the stronger of us. Choice isn't our prerogrative unless you allow us to choose.
Presumably the chick in the flick could have said "You guys are nucking futs and you need find another bimbo to do your dirty work."
I think most of the stupid things women do for bad men are not forced.
Low self-esteem does not always result in truly compulsive behavior.
If it did, then to be consistent we'd have to excuse bad men from much of what they do as well.
Trent, look at the size of those four men. Look at the size of the little girl. She's got a choice. She has no choice about the fact that they've focused their attention on her, now she has to choose are they going to be happy with her or angry. If what they wanted you to do was not immoral and you were fairly certain you could do it, what would you do?
I'm sorry I got heavy on a light thread. I found the film a little triggering, and I'm taking it out on you. I meant to just be light. I'm sorry.
