If you've ever wondered what I say to sophomores who question the applicability of logic I've posted it here. I put it in the philosophy blog because it's semi-technical, but it's still accessible to anyone interested.

I'm a Philosophy professor at Baylor University. While a grad student in Philosophy at the University of Rochester I blended the work of my mentors there: Henry Kyburg, Richard Feldman and Earl Conee, and Ed Wierenga. The upshot is the application of a probabilistic theory of evidence applied to religion. I've got a great wife and four great kids who hike and bike and ski with me, kayak and canoe too.
